Why is Strength Important?
All too often we see runners become injured. Runmum running programs include scheduled strength days as a key element as it will help build endurance without running too much this plays an important part in protecting you from overuse injury's. Many runners start out and do too much too soon, while at the time their body is fine it doesn't take long for the km's to catch up, it can be frustrating to be sidelined due to injure and as always prevention is better than cure!
